10X10: No Room to spare

Living in San Francisco’s Chinatown

This museum exhibition reveals the lives of  immigrant families living in Single Room Occupancy Housing. 100,574 people live in San Francisco’s Chinatown, which is about 1.34 sq. miles.

As many as three generations can live in a 100 sf room.

These  collections explore the themes of time, privacy, and community
